The children loved discovering Roman battle techniques, armour, coins, games and stories throughout their amazing Roman Day workshop. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn more about Roman life and everyone who participated, was able to learn something new and immerse themselves into Roman culture. The Roman day was accessible for all abilities of children within the class as there were opportunities for all children to be involved as well as opportunity for children to challenge themselves. A fab day that everyone enjoyed.

Year 3/4 had an amazing Roman Day! They dressed up as Romans, played ancient games, and even took part in an epic battle reenactment! Thank you to our PTA for contributing to this fantastic workshop. - School FB Post

Year 4 delved deeper into their history topic when they had a special Roman visitor for the whole day. As well as exploring costumes and artefacts the children learned a lot about Roman times and used drama and talk to bring the topic to life. - Year 4 Newsletter
